55 year old metal head from The Netherlands

Hi all,

My name is Carlo, I'm 55 years of age, can't believe it but don't care either. I started playing guitar two years ago, finally. Always loved metal core and trash metal and was jealous of those guys that were hammering on the guitar (think Machine Head, Lamb of God...🤟)

So I wasted two years with individual lessons with a teacher. He learned me some things but not what is needed to really understand the guitar and develop further. I'm really pleased with GT up to know. And I hope to learn a thing or two from you guys if I get stuck...and I know I will at some point. But I will learn how to play and enjoy the road to get there.

Welcome, Carlo! The more metalheads the better, and I hope to visit The Netherlands someday. It's always been my first choice on my dream vacation. I've heard the bicycling is good there.
