Hi there,

My name is Bob, and I´m retired like a few more out there. I´m 72 and just wondered if I´m the oldest on Guitar Tricks.

I have just finished Fundamentals 1. Although I haven´t mastered everything on there yet, I still have problems with strumming with a pick, but I really enjoyed doing it and looking forward to starting Fundamentals 2.

Thank you Lisa for a job well done and hope I didn´t make you too dizzy by playing and rewinding you over and over again .

Hi Bob,

Over the years, we've always had a group of players that are in their 70s, or even beyond that age. But regardless, it's never too late to learn or brush up on how to play guitar. We're happy you're taking lessons with us and we're even more happy that you're having fun with the videos.

I will be 78 this Holloween. Just started and practicing my simple chords C and G. Making progress. One step at a time. I now marvel at proficient guitar players and expect in a few years of practice to play like a natural. Hope springs eternal.`
