Hello,

Playing guitar and actually being good at it has always been a dream of mine. When I was a teenager I used to own a Fender strat and was making progress and even learned a few songs, Metallica’s Enter sandman was one and smells like teen spirit. Unfortunately I lost my guitar and just gave up, plus a huge mistake I often made was comparing myself to better players which just made me discouraged. Now at 44 I’ve decided to try it again, bought myself a really nice Shecter guitar and this time I’m taking actual lessons.

It’s probably a too late to become a rockstar but you never know.

Never too late to become a rock star (or at least have the time of your life working in that direction!)

Ah yes, comparing ourselves to others is deadly. Everybody learns and plays in their own way and at their own pace, so just enjoy diving in and finding out what pace works best for you.

And have fun!! - Lisa
