Hey, Folks!

I started my guitar journey a scant 6 weeks ago. I took private lessons for the first 6 weeks and decided to join GT instead of continuing to pay for the privates. I learned quite a bit during my privates, but felt intense pressure from my teacher. Mind you, I'm 51 and have been performing on stage for 40 years. (trumpet and comedy)

The lessons, so far, on GT have been very refreshing. It's nice to have joined a community of like-minded guitar enthusiasts.

I hope to be able to contribute to the boards in short order.

Great to have you! I'm sorry to hear about your live sessions being unpleasant. Hopefully, Guitar Tricks is something you can really grow and learn with for a long time. Also, 40 years of stage experience is impressive, and in comedy too!
