Hey all! I have been plucking at a guitar that I have for far too long and decided to see if Guitar Tricks can help me advance my learning. So, I signed up for a year and have started to dig in as well as dedicate time for practice!
I currently have two guitars, both are acoustic. One is a Yamaha cheapie that I bought to bang about on and the other is an Ovation Balladeer that was given to me years ago. The ovation is a great guitar but I camp and wanted something that I wouldn’t worry about damaging, hence the Yamaha.
I have a music background (years of band in school) but never tried to understand guitar. Hopefully with a little dedication, I can make this transition and have some fun in the process. I look forward to working with you guys!
