Hi Everyone,
I signed up in July for the two week free trial, but health reasons cut that short.
I was just released from the Doctor, so now I am back. I think I have read just about every post that a registered user can read. I went ahead and payed for full access.
I know my notes in the first position and the basic chord shapes. I can't switch cords fast yet, but will be working on that. The Doc says I have to still take it slow for awhile. Really looking forward to learning guitar.

Hey Dave, Welcome back..
Changing chord gets better with practice.. Your building muscle memory..
Hopefully your med problem doesn't slow that down..
Try doing a two chord switch.. use a simple strum pattern. I liked E to Am. , then Am to D.. then C to Am... F to C and so on.. get a few changes down and then go for three chords.. Get a few three chord changes down then go different rhythms...
Hope this helps you..Good luck and get well soon

Hey David,

happy to see someone get back on the road, be patient and take it slow, you can do it! :)

Thanks for the welcome back. I am going to take it slow for now. I am going to try Lisa's Fingerpicking, it seems to be a little easier on me, and that is the direction that I want to go anyway.
