We've just released the much anticipated AmpliTube 3.5 Custom Shop.... and now it is FREE for everyone!

The base version includes 4 amps, 9 stomps, 5 cabs, 3 mics, 2 rack effects, and a tuner... all completely FREE!
From there, you can build you own custom rig at the Custom Shop.

Have fun! :)

Hey Brian...

I've downloaded it, haven't had a chance yet to play with it. Wanted to get clarity on something a few things.

1) Does the free version run out? Reason I'm asking is because I had shown a friend this, he said he had already downloaded it, but he was under the impression that it's a time based thing.

2) The custom shop, if I'm not mistaken, the working model here is, you only pay for what you want. You're not forced into buying a huge pack of amp models and FX that you would never use...

Which, is really a GREAT option. :)

Rick
I am an Amplitube user (awesome software) and to the best of my knowledge the free is...free forever. Regarding the custom shop, you can buy anything you want but you must purchase credits. I think the minimum is 20 credits, while, effects and cabinet starts I think from 5 credits. I do not use to record but as modelling amplifier the software works well, very well, for me.

Carmine

PS can I add that IK Multimedia is an Italian company? :) Sometimes I am proud of the place where I was born, sometimes.

Regards,

cm

Hi Carmine

So, you're just using the VST plugin? If so, what DAW are you using? I use Reaper.

VST? DAW? I am afraid I do not know what they are! The guitar is plugged in JamVox from Vox

DAW is your computer recording software. The VST is a plugin that your DAW will use.

There are two ways you can record.
1) Send in a signal to your computer/DAW that already has all your guitar FX.
2) Send in a dry signal with NO FX at all. Then use the VST plugin in the DAW software to add the FX.

And I guess there is a 3rd option, one where you send in a signal that already has some FX in it, but you add more, or tweak it in your DAW and VST plugin.

It's well worth learning a bit about how to use this gear. I've been a technophobe for years but it really does open up a new world once you get your head round it :)

I downloaded Amplitube 4 free version and it's not free at all, as soon as I started using it on reaper 6 it says I had 8 days to register it.

Can anyone tell me why it said on a forums its free when it's not?
