ESP 7string - circa 1986??

Does anyone remember the 7 string guitar Groege Lynch played in the mid 80's? This guitar had a high A string for us 80's shreddin sort. The concept obviously died out...but think of the possibilities of an EIGHT-string guitar if you added the low b on that guitar!!!
Then you could get an acoustic made that would have SIXTEEN strings and then...um scratch that thought...too much caffiene.
