Well, for that price, i would buy it too, even if i didnt need a new guitar. hehe

One advice though: when your are playing gigs, watch where you fellow band members are on the stage!! You wouldnt want to injure them with those pointy edges!!!!

yo john, that guitar is Bad and i mean that in a good way. if i wasn't saving up for a new car and remodoling my house i'd get it no doubt. Triple hums and floyd rose that's a hell of a buy.

I really do believe that Musicyo is the BEST place to find quality gear at unthinkable prices.

I mean some of the guitars suck, but for the most part, for the price, the quality of most of the guitars can't be beat at the same price!

Looks like Dimebag's to me, not a Kelly. I would get it, and then save some money and get some Duncan PUs or Dimarzio (SP?)PUs. I saw that in a Guitar mag and I thought it was awesome lookin' and thought it would be at least $800.

I don't have the stuff to send a pic, sorry. It's just what you see on the site, but in Metallic Red. The only problem I had with it was a high set up when I got it, nothing your local guitar shop can't fix. I've had it for about 5 1/2 months now.
Before buying the 422, I bought a Striker 400 from them (which I sold because the pickup location was too close to the neck to get a really biting sound), it came to me set up perfectly, probably the best action I've ever played.

lol@sj, you can replace the neck with a hockey stick and nobody'd be the wiser. i used to hate all guitars like that when i first started playing, especially jacksons you could run somebody through with the headstocks on those things. Now i love the way they look.

yes Jake, seems these days pointy head stock geetars are undergroundfair.
I got my kramer really cheap 'cos of the grunge trend - all old "vintage" gear & jazzmasters was cool then - big backlash against the pointy ones.

I was supprised when I bought mine how cheap you pick up quaility Jacksons etc..

I'd stopped playing for a few years & when I got back into it, I had a job and spare cash so it was like christmas when all this was so cheap (I could never afford good gear when I started)

Its funny watching some of the "old school" widdler types now playing vintage strats with non-locking trems - it seems out of place. Only Vai & Satch sticking to their guns.
trouble is, now I can afford half decent gear I'm 10 yrs behind now - using a guitar with a locking trem

still got the telecaster tho..

how the f*ck can they be making a profit!? Savings of 600 to 800 big ones seems a little fishy....

Nothing fishy about it. They sell the Kramers for just a little more than they pay themselves (musicyo.com made an agreement w/ Gibson to get exclusive rights to Kramer, and in the process, they got them for little more than the guita costs to make. Musicyo.com also is very small personell-wise, so they don't have many big buisness expenses. Read the new Kramer series reviews @ harmonycentral.com, you'll see that they are actually good guitars. Actually, just do yourself a favor and order one (not a Focus or Pacer, try one of their neck-through body Barettal series guitars). For the price, you can't go wrong. One more thing: if you do order ne, be sure to order a hardshell case w/ it for protection during shipping, UPS is cruel to fragile things.
