Ηello there to all, first time posting, thanks for the opportunity.
Not sure if I am in the right forum to ask this, I'll give it a try, thanks in advance.
I have an archtop guitar which I put togther using a kit I purchased online. The top is laminated maple (I think) it is not finished and it is not routed yet for pickups. Actually this guitar will sound best as an acoustic jazz box with a floating pickup attached at the end of the fingerboard leaving the top intact. But what I want to do is different:
If I route the guitar top for 3 P-90s (Neck, Middle and Bridge) how can I have them wired so that a 3-way toggle switch will provide the following configurations:
1 (up): N+M
2 (center): N+B
3 (down): M+B
In all three positions, the pickups will be wired in-phase to get the maximum possible sounds without though the hum associated with the single coils.
Thank you!
