So I play in an Alternative Rock band with some Electronic Pop elements. I have using an Ibanez SDGR SR300 and I would like to upgrade to a high end bass that will last me a long time. I also have been wanted to get a 5 string as well. I was primarily a electric guitar player and I fell in love with my Schecter electric.

So I want to know from you guys if Schecter lives up to their name in the bass realm. I am mainly looking at the Stiletto studio 5 and the Hellraiser extreme 5.

Thanks for any input you all have!

At Guitar Tricks we usually give guitar related advice. Some of our members may have jammed with a Schecter bass, but just in case they haven't here are some online reviews:

I looked up the reviews for the Stiletto Studio 5 and it has incredible reviews. Check it out:

As for the Hellraiser Extreme 5, I found a bass related site where members where discussing this:

Schecter makes great both electric and bass guitars. This one is my favourite[br]https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/SessionR5ANS[br]But for similiar price I can recommend you also this Yamaha[br]https://musicsquare.co.uk/152657_Yamaha-TRBX-505-TBN-Electric-Bass-brown.html
