Just bought my first Ebow. This thing rocks! I saw a local band over the weekend pull out this strange looking plastic thing and the most amazing sounds were created. That guitarist sort of inspired me to head to my local Guitar Center and pick one up. I like building a cool sound by layering the Ebow with lots of delay and just creating some cool leads. I also used my Electro Harmonix Big Muff pedal and tweaked the distortion to give me a tone which sounds creamy and never ending. For those who don't know what this thing is about, check out a larger review I found:

these look so cool. I can't even imagine how many possibilities there are with them. if I hadn't just gotten a multi-effects pedal, I'd definitely be getting one of these. maybe next christmas.....

I have one as well, they are pretty neat and come in handy when you want to keep a harmonic ringing and you have no whammy bar. I have to look into a fernandez sustainer, those things are awsome. You get to use both hands and its immediate.

Saw this article about the EBow. What better place to put it than in five-year old "EBow Review" thread?
