Guitar Tricks Forum > Guitar Tricks Site > Wrong chord in notation?
Hey,
Just started out but I think the notation in the video sweet home chicao (made easy) by Eric Clapton, instructor Caren Armstrong is off. In the turnaround videosection.
After the first E in example 1 there is an E7 with second string 3th fret in the chord notation. Also in the second example. I think she explains just lifting the third finger off from the E and keep it flying.
Right or wrong?
Thanks!

The notation is correct because it is from the performance clip. Watch 0:16 of the lesson. I think Caren briefly mades a mistake in the breakdown of the lesson by not including the D note at 1:16. But the second time she explains it at 2:06 she plays it like she does in the performance.
So I think that one time was a brief oversight. Hope that helps!
