I'm looking for a few easy songs to help me practice alternating between E-root / A-root power cords. Not necessarily 12-bar blues, which I'm already working on, but more rock type songs that I can throw into my practice sessions.
Thanks,
Don

Pretty fly for a white guy - hard
Tainted love - easier
Both good power chord workouts and fun to play

Hotel California is a great chord workout. And any chord that is played open in this Made Easy version tutorial you can easily substitute a barre chord.

Also depends on what kind of music you like too. So many rock songs use power chords that it's a matter of finding what stuff you like.
Since power chords have no major or minor distinctions, take any song and change all the chords to power chords... Presto chango you have your practice materials. In fact you may all ready know it.
