Not so long ago, I posted a thread titled Building Speed (https://www.guitartricks.com/forum/thread.php?f=1&t=46887) amongst many others; and as always many came to help with advises and opinions and LOTS of love. To that, I'm thankful.

When I joined back in February, I thought of Metallica's Master Of Puppets as one of the hardest songs to play, it was always this song on the high pedestal that I could never master (no pun intended)... 7 months later, this morning, I played it note by note, in the original tempo (without the main solo yet) and I couldn't be happier for such a huge achievement, and it made me really happy.

I couldn't have done so without the lessons here, without the great instructors, and without all of you. Special thanks go to Christopher Schlegel for always being there.

GT helped me way more than I could ever imagine, and I'm still at the beginning. So I thought I owed you guys a big thank you for the knowledge and help you bestowed upon me.

So, thank you from all my heart. :)

I second that, Jasim!! Christopher has a great knack of uncovering pertinent lessons that help us advance our playing and then really places his heart & soul (isn't that an old standard???!!) into each one!! Christopher is humble and patient and is as much our friend and colleague as he is instructor which in my humble opinion is exactly how it should aways be!! Jim C.

That´s a great job. If you move forward to this level of playing in 7 months, imagine how you will play in next seven months or even seven years! But one of the most important things is diligence, practising and improving yourself in as many music related things as possible. So good luck!

Keep on rocking! :-)

Thank you all for your nice words and encouragement. I think it's safe to say I will try harder and harder to achieve more.

Rock on! :)

You did the right choice, Mahmoud. GT is great. And man you can play much more than that if you kept on practicing. Rock on my friend and best of luck. m/
