where on earth is the middle C on a guitar??

heeeeeelppppppppppp!!!
i need to compose this peice of music for a piano for my music class. dont have a piano so i'm using a guitar. i need to know where middle C is so that i can start writting in treble and bass clef.

The middle C on a guitar is the third fret on the second string from the top. See if this diagram helps:

Actually there's more than one middle C on the guitar.

That's what makes it such a versatile instrument. Unfortunately, this also makes it very difficult to read and compose sheet music for guitar.
