Metallica isn't Hair Metal, it's thrash. I actually prefer Dave Mustaine to Kirk Hammet, mainly because I find Kirk Hammet somewhat repetitive. Umm...I think it would be extremely respectable for many guitarists, including myself, to admit their shortcomings. I think Dave Mustaine is a very creative guy who should earn a little respect just for the fact that he founded half of the big four heavy metal bands: Metallica and Megadeth. I'd say that qualifies for being a dedicated Musician. Besides, Dave Mustaine has a little bit more staying power than Metallica, seeing as Megadeth's new album is, while not their best, actually pretty good, whereas Saint Anger is (IMO) a very poor album. I'm not sure why you have to be an ass about it. I wasn't.
