Please.

Alright, so I blew it on the Skylark, and Lordathestrings is peeved at me.

So, what can I do to my Traynor to squeeze out some more tone from it? I've heard talk here of replacing the speakers, and Lord has said that the Weber guy is pretty helpful. Also, perhaps a tube change can get me to where I want to get?

Right now, my amp has a really nice, glassy clean tone, and the dirty channel is OK. I'd like to be able to dial in a little more overdrive on the clean and have the dirty channel a bit tighter (it's a little muddy/messy).

I guess the amp is also overpowered at 40W or so (*look of shame from missing out on the Skylark*), but can that be accounted for by tube replacement at all?

I'd prefer not to attenuate or equalize; I like a simple rig.

Here's my previous post with info on my amp:
