great sound (rhythm and lead), great feel (perhaps a bit heavy, but thats from playing a superlight Ibanez for years), and good versatility. I think they run about $600. the only difference between those and a gibson would be slightly weaker pickups, but if you're obsessed about it then you can change them.

LP's and SG's are good, but just like i told Jake2k, im all for Epiphone LP Custom
