I think creating original music is probably the most important thing. You dont have to be really technical to be famous... well it does sometimes get peoples attention. Usually i become interested in a guitarist because they are different from other guitarists.
Practice is the other thing that will help you to become very good.
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
