Anyways, I recently read somewhere (maybe it was even here...) that tinnitus is still not fully understood by doctors/scientists, etc. and that the causes are different in different people. For example, some people can listen to loud music every day and not get affected, yet some people go to one rock concert and live with tinnitus for the rest of their lives. Also, some people actually "lose" their tinnitus.

I'm pretty sure I read this all right here on the GT Forum...
