Man, tinnitus scares the crap out of me. When I was in high school, I had a badass stereo in my car and I'd crank it up daily. On long trips I'd get out and have the buzzing, but it'd go away. If I start gigging regularly I'm definately looking into some earplug options. I seem to remember some correlation between tinnitus and suicide rates cuz it drives you crazy.
