I may take you up on that help. The link you have given me didn't lead me anywhere, but it may not be the link's fault--I've been trying to get into StewMac's site for the past week and a half, and no dice. Once 3 days ago they were up, and I checked out all their wiring info and diagrams, but there were none that made sense--they all had switches with 6 lugs represented. And no specific mention of how to wire the slide switch.
I've been wondering, if I changed my plans and went with a rotary switch (which would look good, too) whether or not that would be any easier. I picture a rotary selector switch with an old chickenhead knob on it.
My problem (well, ONE of them),is that I don't want one of those newfangled mini switches or blade switches or toggle switches on this guitar! I guess if I just gave up, I would be in beter shape, but I won't!!
