I have a friend who bought a Ibanez Jem 7V. He only got it a few months ago and the neck pickup fell off just before a gig so he had to use my guitar. That kinda crap happens even if you take care of the guitar, so you might as well just have fun....

How does a neck pickup "fall off"? That's either a sign of abuse or a case of "too little technical knowledge is a dangerous thing" (of which I am personally guilty more often than I can understand).
