hey everyone, im just now trying to play some more difficult solos than im used to. im used to playing like metallica solos and stuff and now im trying to jump to van halen and ozzy. i have a few questions on two songs, one by each band. on van halen's eruption close to the beginning he plays this lick:--------------5---------0---------0---------0---------0-|

how in the world would you pick that 5 5 8h5h0 with the eight on the g string so freakin fast i mean is it that i just need to get faster or is there a technique to that?
also in the "no more tears" solo from ozzy zakk plays this lick: |--18-15-13--18-15-13--20-17-15--20-17-15-|

he plays that more than what i put but the tab wouldnt fit so i had to adjust it but he taps the 18 15 13 and hits that extra 15 and taps the 20 17 15 and hits the extra 17 but how does he do it, does he hit the extra notes with his pick or his finger or what? please help me out im tryin to get better at solos and i need to start learnin the hard stuff so if theres anything else i need to do to start gettin ready for it like scales or somethin let me know. is it just that im not fast enough or what? thanx alot for your help.
