The reason i'm thinking of joining guitarwars is not really to compete and win. I would like to join just because i could learn from other people and they could tell me where i'm going wrong and help me improve my playing.
I think what most good guitar players should aim to be technical and be able to have feel to there playing. Thats what i lack at the moment. I am good at playing really fast but dont really know how to create my own songs and add feel to my playing but i guess that will also come with practice and listning to other people play.
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
