I will see if i can get a song done and put it up here soon. You should too, i would love to hear you play.
I havnt got a decent song up on the net yet. I really do hate my tone though. Maybe if my friend does get a small tube amp he could bring it round and i will use it to make a song. Or i might do 2 songs. One with a 15 watt tube amp and one with my 30watt solid state amp just to show people the difference in quality of sound.
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
