well i have both a classical and an acoustic, i used to have just the classical with steel strings, now it has nylons and the reason for this is cus i wanna xperiment with nylons and for finger picking.

I personally prefer steel strings the sound is more defined, the feel of them is also great, [i have martin strings on my acoustic too]

with nylons judging from my experience the playing is softer, but i dont really like the sound if im gonna strum and play fast on nylons.

try both obviously to see how u feel, but if its an acoustic id go for the steel.
