I've been playing guitar for two years or so now, and I'm allright. I LOVE KISS,power metal, and shredding. I bought this book, "Shred Guitar". It's pretty good. It teaches the modes, and some monor scale variations. I'm actually an ok vocalist too. The thing is, I'm trying to get into the Gifted and Talented class at my school. I'll have to give a presentation where I play for them to see if I qualify as "gifted". Can anyone give me any tips on what would impress the comittee ? If I make it into the class, I'll study tons of songwriting and neo-classical music theory. Please give me some helpful tips....
