i find pitch harmonics (i think that the rite name :s) quite simple in technique. i use a small pick, i hav these freakish jim dunlop things.. called "stubby" or something. if u hold these with your thumb towards the bottom of the pic (where is touches the strings) when u play the note (works best on high strings) u get the harmonic... maybe that helps?
