it works like this...

use a .13 or smaller string, a metal pick, and start tuning sharp...

use a cheap guitar because this messes with the intonation.

once you reach about G# on some octave or another, keep tuning up and hack at it with the pick near the bridge. make sure the neck is pointed 30 degrees wide of the insect of choice... the aiming is a bit tricky.

eventually it snaps, takes off into the general direction of the unfortunate bug, and if you're lucky, slices right through it.

i have yet to master this.


it sounds better as a one-liner.
