yngwie malmsteen, steve vai, joe satriani, marty friedmen, chris poland, dimebag darrel (funny how no one mentioned him earlier concidering he's probably the best all around metal guitarist in the biz) stanley jordan (probably the most technically advanced player ever and sadly i doubt any of you know who he is.. anyways lets just say he's a jazz guitarist who two hand taps all of his stuff. he plays the rythem and the lead at the same time.. and he's fast as hell.. seriously if you get a chance to hear his stuff do it.. it's so amazing you're head will probably explode.) and then rhodes, srv...the list can go on
