Um..drop your tuning to C? I dunno what to say, except what's already been mentioned. With some amps you can get a more meaty sound by turning down all the volumes on your amp (bass, midds, and treble) so more of the total volume is what the amp fills in. At least I think that's how it works, I can't really remember because I haven't used distortion in about half a year and I wasn't the most knowledgeable about it before then either.
