to clean my guitar and bass i use two or three things things, firstly for the frets i use a lemon oil(or a citris oil that i have lying around), a old shirt to apply it, i then use the other side of the ****e to clean the body.
this is for the 'big' clean, other than that i use a small cloth that came with my sun glasses for the 'small' cleaning.
