let me also say that the method i have described works well
if u have somewhat of a musical vocabulary of licks and chord shapes in your head.So beginners may not be able to make music this way until they already have songs memorized.
Ive tried the die hard theory approach for 8+ years and it hasnt help me write 1 song yet.It has helped me organize notes tho.I just didnt like the idea of trying to memorize 40 scales in all 12 keys!!!!Im really big into improvising and not playing the same intervals all the time.So i needed to come up with an easier but yet more colorful way of looking at song writing and playing.
The way i see it this method lets u try out anything u want and have some way of memorizing where those notes were and how they can modulate into something else.
I have to put my finger where?
