Hello,

I tried to use a metronome but it's not working very well. My past playing a tenor sax was tapping of my foot to keep a beat and no problem with that, I tried same with Guitar which switching chords but that does not always work out well.

I'm having problems switching between chords specifically working on Anders Fundamentals 2 lesson 4 and 5, learn and play song. My brain knows where my fingers should be but getting my fingers on the proper strings/frets is the problem. I find myself pausing. A few examples would be - 

Switch between Cmaj7 to C, Cmaj7 to Dm

I have a pause getting my fingers in the proper position. My thought would be following trying with a metronome. But my experience with keeping up with the tone of a metronome. 

If I can receive any guidance for the chord changes utilizing a metronome - properly, person with no exposure, videos on this site how to use one specifically to build coordination would be appreciated.
