so you want to critique peeps to help them (as you say), but you are not accepting any critique form others. a bit one sided, isnt it? however - jon is doing a good job here and he´s not looking for sympathizers - he´s looking for the right persons. most of us mods have agreed that your tone is too harsh sometimes and we told you. i know from personal experience how difficiult it is to host a website with that many hits per day - especially when it encapsulates the administration of a discussionboard.
there are peeps who come and whine about beeing a moderator or about this and that, and once you tell them that there is no need for new mods or that you think that he/she isnt the right person, they get all upset and start defending theirselves and sometimes they even start calling you names and tell you that your site is crap. thats when you know you have made the right decision.
