My name is Brian Boss. I have been using Guitar Tricks for ten years, and I find it very helpful, 

     I play in two startup bands and teach guitar at a music store. We played our first bar gig in a while (5 years) with a five-piece band. I have questions about connecting with audiences, entertaining them, and keeping the crowd in the bar. At my first gig with them, we cleared the audience out rather quickly. Some stayed for the entire four hours. Feedback, I heard from my friends the front man should not be in the corner. The guitar or vocals were mixed too low.
