Hi,

 I have a real basic question. When picking notes, my progressions aren’t clean - as I lift a finger off a string I’ve just picked, I get a distorted sound (because the string is still vibrating when I lift my finger). Also, the previously picked notes continue to sound as I continue up the scale.

 I was going to upload a video clip showing the problem but couldn’t figure out how to do it 🙄

what am I doing wrong?
