I am just beginning to play the guitar.  My goal is to play the electric guitar.  It seems that because an acoustic guitar has a wider neck and a little more distance between the strings it might be a little easier for a beginner, (Not sure if this is correct or not).  My question is, should I learn on an acoustic and then switch to an electric, or start on an electric even if it is a little more difficult in the beginning?
