That's a different skill set.  There is not a lot of overlap in the physical technique required in most acoustic playing versus hard rock/metal.  The ideas are the same:  notes, chords, scales, all the same.  But how you apply them is very different in those different styles.  A student can learn both, of course!  But each path will take it's own considerable time & effort to develop.


If you decide you'd rather focus on acoustic, then I recommend the acoustic courses.

Think about which songs you want to play and why.  That will help you decide which path to work on.
