I thought I'd try doing my own truss rod adjustment and wanted to loosen it a bit for a little more neck relief. I could not get it to move at all in either direction. I was using what I thought was a fair amount of force, rather than risk breaking something I stopped before I did. Is this normal for it to be  so hard to turn?

It's a fairly new guitar, maybe about 4 months old.
