The first time I heard George Lynch was on the Magna Carta Records tribute to Rush(Working Man). He played along with the likes of Michael Romeo, Lemur Voice's lead (wooohh.. forgot name), James Murphy (Cancer, Death), Steve Morse, Jon Pettrucci (Dream Theater), Stu Hamm (Satriani's awesome live bass player), Billy Sheehan (Mr. Big's awesome bass player), Gregg Bissonette, (one of Satriani's drummers), Deen CAstronovo and Carmen Apice. These incredibly talented musicans did Rush's music a service adding another layer of Shred (though sadly Morse's La Villa Strangiato wasn't as refined as Lifeson's sublime performance.
Anyway, George Lynch played for 80s Hard Rock bands like Dokken and Lynch Mob. He's very talented.
If I couldn't laugh at myself how could I laugh at someone less ridiculous?
