I'm trying to recreate this guitar tone but can't get it right. I'm using a Vox AC15, I've tried it with a Strat a Tele, the closest I've gotten is with a Gibson SG.

Sounds like you need more bass & mid-range, less treble.  It also sounds like the first one has a little more hair, like the amp is a little louder & hitting the mike harder to create a little peaking.  The second one sounds a little too thin & lower in volume.

Hope that helps!

The SG getting you closest makes sense, since its humbuckers can give you a thicker, smoother sound than the Strat or Tele. With an AC15, I’d also experiment with lowering the gain slightly, keeping the mids fairly controlled, and using the guitar’s volume knob to clean up the tone rather than relying only on the amp settings. A little EQ and reverb adjustment after recording may help bring the recreation closer too.
