If you are wanting a full size humbucker, you will also have to get a tele bridge made for a humbucker, a couple of things to think about, you need to make sure the humbucker pole pieces are spaced for the bridge you get or you may wind up with the strings not lining up correctly over the polepieces, when you get the right bridge, remove the old bridge, ( cut the pick-up wires off at the selector switch first), then set the new bridge down on the guitar and line up the mounting holes and check for clearence around the pick-up, it probably won't be a problem but it's always better to check and test fit before asumming anything, make sure their is ample space to adjust the pick-up height up and down so that nothing is rubbing on the body cavity, if everything is cool. route the wires, solder them up, if you are buying a new pick-up it should have instructions for the connections so no sweat, tell us how it turns out and if you have any problems let us know................
