My brother recently phoned from Australia and said in two weeks he would be visiting me. He was ecstatic that I had started to play in guitar (I haven't spoken to him for about 10 months) and once I mentioned I would be building my first guitar he said I wasn't to attempt it until he visited. All I have to get is it the axe, pick-ups and neck and he will help me assemble it. Anyway, a friend of mine is willing to give me a standard tele axe for a cheaper price than I'd pay anywhere else. I was thinking of buying this but I realised I wanted a humbucker pickup at the bridge and a single coil at the neck. I am positive on the pickups I want because I have tried them out on another guitar. But my question is, can you install the humbucking pickup just by using a different wiring technique or are there other obstacles?
