Thank you for this question! My first suggestion, since you're new to power chords, is to go slowly at first, making sure you are playing the notes in each chord cleanly. As you play through the progression, try your best to keep the same finger shape when you move through the chords. The power chord shape uses either the index and ring fingers, or the index and pinky (either is acceptable). Keep your index finger straight, with the fingertip fretting the low note of the chord. If you can, try to rest the lower part of the index finger against the higher strings to mute them. Finally, if you are playing these with an electric guitar, add some crunch or distortion to the sound - you'll find the chords sound more "rock" this way. Hope this helps! Best of Luck!!
