I just wanted to add to what has already been said. I can't say how many times I have thought "this is impossible!" But fortunately for me, what I lack in talent is more than made up for in sheer stupidity and stubbornness. So I persist. And then, all of a sudden I just play a song I thought I would never be able to play.

This is such a difficult instrument, patience and persistence are your best friends.
