i'm considering building my own guitar and i need some tips about the wood choice for the body.
what are the characteristics of woods like basswood, mahogany, alder ash?
what are the setbacks of each?
and will a combination of mahogany body and basswood top will be a good idea?
also should the interior be completely hollow or only in neceserry places like for the tremelo and wiering?
