Actually today I found an article on them. OK. Clapton left before they really did anything big. The guys recruited Jimmy Page for lead guitar, Page recommended Jeff Beck instead. So now Page played Bass and Beck played Lead. Also, near the end of the Yardbirds, John Paul Jones(Zeppelin Bass player) played drums.
